Freedom to Communicate will complement your full-time job, not compete with it. Most of my clients simply commit one hour a week to our coaching session and about one extra hour (if they can) for homework and practice. The more time you put in, the faster the results.

Everything we use in our sessions - worksheets, language tools, strategies - is carefully created for you and your specific communication goals. You’ll receive these as a copyrighted PDF for your records.

🌿Session recordings and transcripts
Every session is recorded (video and audio), so you can revisit the content at any time. You won’t need to worry about remembering what we covered.

🌿Personalised feedback on your presentations
When you give a presentation during our time together, you’ll receive detailed written feedback in PDF format, highlighting your strengths and areas for improvement.

To support and enhance your learning, I’ll share the best resources that I’ve tested and recommend for success in English communication.

Your investment will be £669 for three months of coaching. You can pay in full upfront or choose three monthly payments of £223 at no extra cost - whatever works best for you.

Your Realistic Time Commitment

  • One hour per week: Your private coaching session with me.

  • Optional extra hour: Homework, practice, and reflection (but it’s your choice how much you do).

  • Sessions are arranged flexibly so you can fit them around your work commitments.

A little bit about me

I have helped many Landscape Architects worldwide, including those from Spain, Italy, Portugal, South Korea, China, Venezuela, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. I have also worked with ESL Landscape Architects based in the UK, some of whom are recent graduates of UK Universities looking for work.

I understand one thing very clearly from having helped so many International designers - to connect with your audience (a client, colleague or a stakeholder), you need the freedom to communicate your messages.

Freedom from:

  • A belief that you need to speak English perfectly and;

  • A belief that you need to memorise English word for word to be proficient.

And don’t forget that I have walked in your shoes! I understand the language and skills you need to do your job - I know how important being able to speak confidently is. I have combined my degree in Garden Design with my English teaching qualifications to create the perfect course for you. It is designed to help you practise the skills to ditch the fear of making mistakes and finally begin to enjoy speaking English.

Who is Freedom to Communicate for?

It’s for you if:

FAQs:

  • All coaching sessions are one-to-one via Zoom, so I can work with you regardless of location and time zone.

  • Not at all. The majority of my clients have an Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English. The coaching that I offer is designed to be tailored to your specific needs and goals.

  • Every client has their unique needs and goals. My overall objective is to work with the English you have and unlock the confidence already within you.

    I aim to get my clients talking - a lot! I structure lessons with an emphasis on communicative goals to aid and encourage oral practice throughout.

  • As my clients are working professionals or busy students coaching is designed to be flexible and fit in around working hours and account for different time zones.

  • Absolutely. I have helped a number of Landscape Architects on their Pathway to Chartership. Your mentor can advise if they think you might need help with your pronunciation, or technical language or just extra oral practice before your exam.

    • Enjoy a free 30-minute coffee chat, during which you can explore whether this programme is the right fit for you.

    • If you decide to proceed, you will then receive a placement test together with a needs analysis questionnaire, and I will design your bespoke programme.

    • I will then draft a report detailing the outcome of the placement test and needs analysis questionnaire, including a summary of proposed target areas, aims, and objectives.

    • We will agree on a suitable time to meet online for the first session, which will last at least one hour. My preferred platform to use is Zoom.

    • You will need to complete work in between sessions to expedite progress and prepare for the next session.

    • The programme syllabus will emerge naturally as we progress and your needs and interests become increasingly apparent.

    • 12 x one-hour one-to-one personalised coaching sessions to be arranged flexibly around your work and different time zones.

    • Option to continue coaching once the 12 sessions have been completed, for an additional cost.

    • All the material we use in each coaching session is carefully and creatively designed and will be made available to you as a copyrighted PDF for your records.

    • All sessions will also be recorded and transcribed for your convenience. This way, you can revisit the content at your own pace and never miss a detail.

    • Clear feedback on all presentations given during the programme will be emailed as a PDF for your records. It will highlight your strengths and areas for improvement.

    • Access to me, my help and support whenever you need it for the duration of the programme.

    • My best tech tips and books to support and supplement your learning.

  • Yes you are welcome to pay in full or pay monthly for three months at the same price.
